Event Registration

Kaka‘ako Agora was designed to be a resource for our community. It is available for community organizations and community-minded individuals to use for small-scale events, and gatherings.

Fill-out the event request form to the left if youʻre interested in holding an event or gathering at Kaka‘ako Agora. (note: every field must be filled out and the "expected number of attendees" field only takes a single numeric value.)

Our site coordinator or a staff member will respond to your request within 2-business days.

Some quick notes about booking an event at Kaka‘ako Agora (download the full guidelines here):

  • Space is available on a first come first served basis.
  • We have capacity for events up to 150 persons.

Registering your event will allow us to notify you of any potential conflicts, request special accommodations, and most importantly allow others to find out about your event via our calendar. Events that are registered will automatically be added to the calendar, however, if, after review, we determine that the event is not appropriate for the Agora, we reserve the right to retroactively disapprove it.

A usage fee is assessed to help cover the basic costs of operating the Agora, equipment and administration (see table below).

After your event is approved, you will receive an online invoice for the usage fee your event as well as additional information about a site walk-through and cleaning/equipment hold.

Must present 501c3 determination letter at the time of event confirmation.
